Aden's turn

The best I could do because we were running late.
Yes I dressed them alike!!! Why? Because I can and they look so cute.

Well this past Thursday it was Aden's turn to start "school" but this time I brought help - his daddy. We dropped Walker off at his class first which he did pretty good but he did cry a little because he wanted his daddy. We get into Aden's class and he starts figuring the whole thing out. He sat him on the floor and Aden lost it holding onto Josh with all his might as his teacher came over and pulled him away. Luckily I forgot his cup in the truck so I ran outside to get it during all this melt down. When I came back to pick him up they said that he cried the whole time and even started beating on the window when he saw his brother playing on the playground. It was so bad that they had to take his class on the little playground to get his mind off of his brother. My heart just breaks knowing that he cried the whole time but I know this is good for him. It is only three hours a week, he can do it. Mommy is just going to go to a bar knowing that my kids think I left them and don't love them anymore. :)

The Pictures are in.

Okay so I was waaaaaay over due to get Aden's one year picture made and just a little late getting Waker's 3 year old pictures made but at least I did finally get them made.
Enjoy!

Walker loved posing with his hand in his pocket.

Silly smile.
Aden wore the same outfit that Walker wore in his one year pictures. The only thing is that Walker was 12 months old when he wore this outfit and Aden is 18 months old and still a little loose on him.
My two sweet Boone boys.

Miranda came to visit

This is not a clear picture but you can still see the grin on Miranda's face when hugging Walker.
Aden's grin when hugging Miranda

In the truck going to eat

Giggling the whole way.

Miranda
Walker
Aden and mommy
even Daddy joined in the fun.
Aden just loves girls. He does this the whole time he is around Kathryn his other girl cousin.
We ended the visit with a bath.
Wednesday was a busy day because I had to drop Walker off at preschool, take Aden for an over due 18 month well check, pick Walker up a preschool, feed them lunch quick, take naps, get Walker up and then take him for his 3 year old well check. Luckily I had asked mom if she could watch Aden while I took Walker to the doctor. I thought Aden might freak out going back to the doctor after just leaving and getting four shots. As luck would have it Miranda got to come with mom. The boys don't get to see her to much and had a ball with her. That is all Walker would talk to the doctor about was Miranda and the bouncy house that we were suppose to go to. We were going to take the boys and Miranda to a bouncy house to jump and play and I even called them to ask what time they stay open til which they said eight o'clock. When we got to the place at 6:30 they were closed!!!! The kids were so disappointed but we ended up going to Burger king and letting them play on that playground. They had a blast and the play area was great for all the ages and very clean. The boys could not get enough of Miranda and I really enjoyed spending time with her. I get tickled at how much my nieces can talk your ears off. Kathryn and Miranda both are so funny to talk to and you can understand them both some much better then Walker. I asked the doctor about that and he said that is the difference in boys and girls. Girls usually love to talk and boys love to play.

Preschool

Well the time has come for Walker to start preschool.( He is going to our church preschool three days a week from 9:00am to noon.) I woke up early and got ready then I heard Walker coming out of his room about 7:30am. Aden wasn't awake yet so Walker and I had some great mommy and son time talking and laughing. He was excited about school and his new book bag aka backpack. He told me that he wanted me and Mamama to go to school with him, Charles and Kathryn. So then I had to explain that his cousins didn't go to his school and mommy and Mamama(Grandmama) were to old to go to his school. He was okay with it but not great.
Striking a pose
Wanting to make sure I got a picture of his backpack

Walker walking into his school while tears started building up in my eyes
In his room and not sure of things.
There are no more pictures of him in class because I couldn't hold myself together to take another picture. I think the teacher could sense or see that I was about to lose it so she distracted Walker with a puzzle while kissed on the head and told him to be good. Then I made a run for the door and lost it in the hallway. Don't get me wrong because I know that Walker is going to have a blast and I am so excited about the friends he will make but leaving him with strangers that I just meet was the hard part. The funny part of this thing is that Aden was with the whole time. I kinda forgot he was in my arms this whole time so when I lost it after leaving Walker he was freaked out. I looked at his little face while buckling him up and started laughing. We was scared I think because he kept staring at me then the school and then saying Walker. I told him that we would be back to pick Walker up later which he seemed to understand. I decided that Aden and I needed some shop therapy at the mall. Aden ended up get some new "running" shoe(that's what Walker calls sneakers) just like his brother's. After shopping we headed back to pick up Walker and as soon as the teacher put him in the truck he started crying that he didn't want to go home that he wanted to stay at school. That little stinker had me worried and crying most the morning about him and he was fine the whole time. :) He told me he has new friends named Eli and Bubba. It is to cute to hear him say Bubba. So end of story is I survived...... barely....... but I did.

Boys will be Boys

Walker pretending that sidewalk chalk is eye shadow.
( I had to explain to him that bright pinks were so 8Os and neutrals are in now. )
This is where you will find Aden every time the garage door is open. He knows how to get on and off without our help and gets mad if you take him off the tractor. He will sit on this thing for hours if we let him but as soon as you crank it up he jumps down and takes off for the house.

Rainy Day in Georgia

Walker has always wanted to play in the rain so today we let him. Can you tell by his face how much he loved it?

Walker jumping in puddles with daddy.
Aden didn't want to go in the rain but enjoyed watching his brother having fun.
