Baby update: Everything looks great and the baby's heartbeat is in the 140s. That's just what Walker did when he was in me. The first appointment he was 163 just like this one and the 2nd time he was 148. Maybe a boy?! Maybe a girl?! We will find out in 5 weeks. We can't wait!!!!! I just want to figure out room decor. :)

This is just one of the things we brought Walker back. We bought him this drum set, M&M world T-shirt, and of course we had to get him a Snap-on hat. They also handed out a lot of free stuff that we had to get two of. One for Walker and one for Josh.

This was one of the original Snap-on trucks.

This is the water show at the Bellagio which was so pretty and peaceful to watch. The water danced to the Titanic song.

This is the casino across the street from us that had a huge water show day and night. The Bellagio is a HUGE casino and they are adding on another part.

This is the light show that is above Fremont Street that everyone talked about. We thought I was going to be this great thing but we were sadly disappointed. The pizza there was great so it wasn't a waisted trip.

These are some of the oldest and most popular sites from Vegas. You see the Golden Nugget, the cowboy, and the cowgirl in just about all the movies that are filmed in Vegas. As a matter of fact, I happen to catch the ending of Pure Country yesterday and it showed all three of these. In case you were wondering, this is Fremont Street.

Viva Las Vegas

Josh and I just came back from our trip to Las Vegas this past weekend. We left Friday afternoon around 3:00 and arrived in Vegas a little past 4:00 thanks to the different time zones. The Snap-on convention was at the Bally's and Paris casinos so we stayed at the Paris. We had to be there by 6:00pm for Snap-on's welcome party where we got a sneak peak at the stuff for the show the next day. Saturday was a mad house because they had some great deals on tool boxes and new tools that are coming out later this year. Josh and I were a little overwhelmed at times because that was the first show I had ever been to. People tried selling Josh everything you can think of that had Snap-on on it somewhere. The most interesting thing Josh bought was Snap-on beef jerky made just for Snap-on so you cannot buy the same stuff anywhere else. Josh was impressed with that. They also had a lot new trucks,(way over priced) motorcycles, and one of the original Snap-on trucks which was my favorite. Saturday night they a huge dinner for everyone which was very nice. After the dinner they had dancing but we didn't stay for that part. A group of us went to this bar that was in the middle of the casino and raised up a little so you could watch everybody. The men drank and talked about tools and the women people watched til about 2:00 am. Josh and I then walked around for a couple of blocks but it was to hot for us to walk to much. Sunday was relaxing! We went back to the tool show and glanced at everything to make sure Josh did not miss anything and then Josh turned in his order book and off to the pool we went. It was very hot outside and the pool was way to cold to enjoy so we decided to walk around . We headed to Fremont Street and found some of the best pizza for dinner. We watched the 7 minute light show and headed back to the hotel to watch the water show. Monday we got to order room service!!!! The last time I ordered that was when we got married. It was so nice to pack and get ready and not worrying about breakfast, because it was on it's way. Our plane was at noon and we got home around 7:30pm. The best part of the trip was coming home to see Walker!! I was so excited the whole plane ride home.

Did you say the Flock of Seagulls were coming to town?

Road Trip

Tuesday me, mom, nanny, & Walker left for South Georgia. Walker and I went to stay with our cousins James, Robin, & Briana while mom and nanny stayed with Aunt Polly. Tuesday I was in a hurry to get the house cleaned and pack both of us that I let Walker crawl all over the upstairs.(Big mistake!) When I found him he had unrolled the brand new roll of toilet paper in my bathroom. I couldn't get mad because he was laughing way to much to get mad. Tuesday when got to South Georgia around 4:30pm so we dropped nanny and mom off and went to Briana's swim practice where she swam faster than a fish. ( Good luck Saturday Briana!!!!!) After that we went back to Polly's for dinner than to Robin's. Walker was so happy to see them (or it could have been the SWEET TEA nanny gave him.) that he would not settle down until 11:00pm but he did sleep to 10:00am the next morning. Wednesday James surprised us and took off work which was a nice surprise. We swam some and I got burnt, we saw the new church they are building and then James treated us out to Mexican!!!!! My favorite!! Thursday we woke up, ate breakfast, packed everything back up, took a nap with Walker, ate lunch, and by that time it was time to go home. We had such a good time with the Mobley family that I felt like I was on vacation!! Thank you so much for everything and thank you Briana for being so good with Walker. He loves you so much!!

New Baby!! I am so glad that we can finally tell people that we are having another baby!! I am now in my second trimester and from the ultrasound the doctor said it looked like another healthy baby. This one is due January 18 2008. The heartbeat was 163.( Maybe Josh will get his little girl.) We get to find out what it is the first week in September. Just 8 weeks to go!!!!

This weekend we celebrated my 30th birthday at the lake with all the parents. Walker had a little cold but felt better when he saw all his grandparents. We talked Lindsay into staying the night so she could go on the tube the next morning but it rained most of the day so we ended up leaving the lake around 2:00 in the afternoon. Even though we didn't get to enjoy the lake the next morning we still had fun just hanging out with family.Walker had so much fun he slept the whole way home. Sunday evening we met Walker's Nana and Papa for dinner at the Varsity where Walker had his first naked dog! LOVED it!!!!!

Walker's new pose that grandmama showed him the other night.

Our ride home from dinner.

This past Saturday we had dinner with Nanny and Granny. I forgot to take my camera so no pictures. :( The good news is that Nanny is almost back to her same old self. Sunday we went to see Grandma Boone. I brought my camera but forgot to take pictures. I remembered the camera at the restaurant and took a picture of Walker's grandaddy and grandmama. Grandma Boone is doing a little better but she is very swollen. She is in a very nice assisted living establishment that used to be a hotel for the golf course.

And Josh wonders why the dishes aren't done when he gets home!!

These past couple of weeks have gone by so fast. I can't believe that I will be the BIG 3 0 Friday. Walker has been very productive in his walking he is up to 4 steps. He could do more but he gets tickled about what he's doing and falls down laughing. It is very cute to watch. He practically runs behind the walker his grandma gave him. Making circles around the couch all day long.
