Lindsay's Prom

My little sister is growing up so fast!! She went to her first prom on April 12Th and I was so nervous for her. She went with a friend and a bunch of other couples. Her date came and picked her up then went to one friends house to get some pictures made and then to the house where the limo was picking them up. Limos have come a long way since I went to prom some 10 years ago. They are huge and decked out, her had one huge sitting area and a little one in the very back. When I talked to her the next day she said that they had fun but got to the prom real late because they went to eat first. She said that they ate, went to prom , and then to a friends house for an after party. I heard about the party before hand and freaked out inside until my dad said that they investigated the party and it was safe. He said there was as many parents as kids. Poor Lindsay, she has two moms when it come to things like this. It is a totally different relationship when you are 15 years older then your little sister. I get to fuss at her but I also get to be friends with her. I just want the best for and of her. Lord help the guy that seriously starts dating her because Josh loves her as much as I do. He will have at least 4 adults to deal with and two tough toddlers. No one better mess with Walker's Aunt Burp Burp. If you ever read this Lindsay we love you!!!!!

Georgia Aquarium and the Varsity

Walker and Aden's (2ND)cousin Briana who is ten and her mom Robin came up for South Georgia the first week of April to visit and to meet Aden. We had so much fun just hanging out and it was a nice break having company here while Josh was at work. They had four ticket to the Aquarium so me, my mom, Briana and Robin went.(The two boys were free) After the Aquarium we went to eat at the Varsity because Briana had never been. Walker was so hungry that he ate his entire meal and kept his hat on the whole time. Wednesday Robin and Briana came over and spent the day hanging out with the boys, then we went to dinner when Josh got home. Robin and I both love Mexican food so anytime we get together we try to squeeze in that as one of our meals. Thursday I met Briana and Robin over at my Nanny's house for lunch and to see them off but to my surprise Briana wanted to stay with me. So Thursday night we were the only family out at 10:00pm feeding the kids doughnuts. Yes, you know me, I wanted to make the most of her stay so I talked Josh into a quick trip to Krispy Kreme so she could see the doughnuts being made. I have to say that Walker really enjoyed watching and waving several times at ALL the people making the doughnuts. Friday I had to do some running around and a little shopping to fit in since I had such a great helper. We went to Old Navy to get pants for Walker which they had none, and oh my goodness. I know now why I don't have a girl because I would be sooooo broke from buying clothes. Briana and I both saw an outfit that we liked so I had her try it on and of course it looked so cute. I had to get if for her and two matching t-shirts b/c they were on sale and two other things b/c they were on clearance. Everything she tried on was perfect. Yes I know I would be broke so the only way I can have a girl is if we win the lottery. Saturday we had to meet Robin in Macon to return Briana. It was a bitter sweet moment b/c we were all so tired but we didn't want her to go. Walker just loves her to death. It is so funny watching him with her because she weighs 67 pounds and Walker roughly 32 pounds and she carries him everywhere.
