This is Walker tell his daddy how to fix the smoke detector.

On our way to Grandaddy's house.

Me trying to get Walker to sit still for a picture in the outfit Granny gave him. So cute!

Walker loves his Elmo chair soooo much.
I feel that I am always playing catch up on the blog. I love reading everyone else's but forget to post mine. Where were we last? Oh- Father's Day weekend. Friday Walker did his first prank call but unfortunately it was 911. The police officer rang the door bell and I answered with a smile saying " Can I help you?". He said you called me which was followed by do you have any kids? I found the phone under the couch which had been on for 25 minutes. Then I was thinking if I had said anything bad while they were listening. The only thing I was remembering was that Walker and I was seeing who could scream the loudest. Opps! Saturday we were supposed to go to Ty's 1st birthday party but Josh ended up having to work. It kinda worked out pretty good because we went to go see Nana and Papa when Josh got home. It was a good surprise to celebrate father's day with Walker's Papa and we always relax there because Nana and Aunt Lindsay take over Walker so Josh and I hardly have to do a thing!! Oh Walker had another first that made Josh laugh which made Walker do it over and over again- pick his nose ! Sunday- Walker gave Josh a book (Daddy's Kisses) for Father's Day and I gave him a big picture I had made of Walker. ( The gift was more for me but Josh really loved it.) We went over to Grandma's and Granddaddy's and ate lunch played in the pool then ate dinner. We always over stay our welcome at parent's house but what can we say we love our families. :)

Last week was a very hard and long week for this Boone family. We found out that Walker is allergic to Water Babies sunscreen. The poor guy had spots all over his tiny body. I felt so sorry for him but they didn't seem to bother him at all. I don't know if you can see the spots that good on the blog. (The scratch on his head is from a trying to walk accident against the door.) When he went to the doctor about his spot they went ahead and did his 12 month check up shots!! That night one of our 5 dogs that shall remain nameless(BJ) killed our cat Katie. What a hard thing to take. The big question was why? I'm guessing because he's a very dumb and inconsiderate dog. (He's Josh's dog.) Now our only cat is enjoying all the attention she has been getting. This is Heidi in our bedroom window. Oh, Walker's measurement 25lbs (77.79%) 32 3/4 inches long (92%) and I don't know his head size but it was in the 90%. They said that besides to spots he is an extremely healthily baby/toddler. :)

Our youngest little girl was upset that she did not get to join in on Walker's birthday party, so I let her wear the hat around the house. Who am I trying to kid, that dog never gets off the couch when she's inside. You like the tongue action?

Josh and I think this is Walker's little way of saying "somebody get me a sandbox PLEASE!" Josh thinks he's fine playing in the dirt.

For Walker's first birthday Josh and I got him a power wheel 4-wheeler that he has loved from the beginning but didn't know how to push the button to make it go. It was very hard for us to push it and lean over and walk behind at the same time so thank goodness he has figured it out. Now if we can teach him how to steer, that would even be better.

Sorry I haven't posted lately but a 25lb baby keeps you busy. I will update from Memorial Day weekend. We got to see all of Walker's grand parents: Saturday we ate dinner with Granny and Nanny. Paw-Paw grilled out shrimp and steak kabobs for us. Sunday Papa, Nana, and Lindsay came over so Papa could put in a faucet and then we went to have burgers at Walker's favorite burger joint. Monday we chilled out at home then went with Josh to help in the warehouse and after that we went by to see Grandaddy and Grandma. With three sets of grandparent we keep Walker busy on holidays.
