Easter with Granny

Some bunny loves Walker

Our yearly family photo.
Easter came so quick this year that I didn't have time to get something new for Josh and I to wear. Maybe next year.

On their way to find the eggs

And they are off ! Notice my child running without his basket, that's because he was just running. The silly boy didn't know what he was doing at first.

He quickly learned.

Then he decided to see what was in the eggs. CANDY! So like a mad man he opened all the eggs and ate the candy and threw down the money. Smart little boy we have.

Easter

The Easter Bunny came and brought lots of stuff for the boys. This was the first Easter that Walker could really enjoy his basket and boy did he ever. He doesn't get candy that often and he went crazy with it. As soon as he saw it was candy he started shoving it in his mouth and wouldn't stop. I think he thought that we were going to take it away from him. He made us laugh all morning watching him eat even the black jelly beans. Walker also got a Elmo tool belt that I had a hard time getting it off of him so we could get dress for church. This time with Walker is the most challenging but also the most fun.

We waited about 30 minutes Saturday to have the boys picture made with the Easter bunny. The whole time I was pumping Walker up to see him and he was excited. He would wave like crazy and yell hello Easter bunny. We got up to the bunny and Walker started screaming NO NO and would not let go of me. I didn't care if Walker was in it because it is not something I plan on doing every year, just their first Easter. If you ask me I thought the bunny was scary myself.

laughing baby
Aden is starting to get a lot more fun. I usually can get him to smile by looking at him and after that he starts laughing when I tickle his neck. It makes the less sleep worth it when I see him like this.

Aden's bath time with daddy.

Third Hair Cut

After weeks of putting it off I finally got Walker's hair cut. One day I saw him tilting his head back so he could see the tv through his hair and I said that's it.

Aden's 1 1/2 month chair pictures

Breakfast
Cheese

zzzzzz

I don't know if this is a good thing but one night when Josh was working real late I had to give both babies a bath. I washed Aden first and had Walker help and pushed up the chair for him. Now as soon as Walker sees Aden's tub he starts pushing the chair over to the sink to help. It is very sweet to watch Walker wanting to help so much. He really does love his brother.

Last weekend we also went to the Yellow River Game Ranch and met The Tingles there. Jennifer and I are always trying to get our boys together when we can. It is weird because it is a instant friendship every time they see each other. I love it because they are so easy going that as of right now they don't fight. Aden came along for the ride and Jennifer fed him while Josh and I had some Walker time. It is so funny how easy and fast you will give over your second child compared to your first. I hardly ever gave up Walker because I didn't want to burden anyone at the time, but now when someone ask Josh and I answer with where and when. Sorry Aden but I know it sucks being the second child even though I try to keep it even.

Josh decided to burn all the outside trash last weekend and of course his little helper had to help his daddy. It is so cute to see the two of them together. Walker watches his daddy's every move.
