Update

Well I guess some of you are wondering where I have been. We moved!!!! Yes we were able to rent Josh's grandmother's house for a while so Josh can be closer to his route. It has already made a difference in him getting home earlier, now if I could do my part and have dinner ready earlier thing would be great. It was funny the first week of our move because Josh got home around 5:30pm and asked what was for dinner. I told him that I wasn't use to him being home until 8:00pm so dinner had not crossed my mind. We went out for dinner that night. :) I will post pictures later today from things going on around this house.

Halloween

Aden waiting to get his picture made.
Walker dressed and ready to go

Mommy and daddy with our little dinosaurs.

See how calm Kathryn(aka Minnie) and Charles(aka Pirate) are? Then there is my son growling like the dinosaur he thinks he is.

Aden watching the kids trick or treating.
On Halloween I decided to get the boys picture taken like I have done in the past with Walker so I enlisted my mom's help and off we went. We had their pictures made in costumes together then had Aden's 9 month pictures taken then Walker's 2 1/2 pictures taken. (I will post those pictures later.) After pictures we had lunch then back home for some nap time that they decided to not take. Once Josh got home we went to my Nanny's so she and mom could see them and get some pictures, after that we went to Charles and Kathryn's for dinner and trick or treating. Walker had a blast following Charles every move. Charles would run and then Walker would run and if Charles giggled Walker would start giggling too. I had so much fun watching the two of then run house to house. Kathryn held her own but was a little sleepy to be as crazy as the boys. There was one house that had a scary mask that was on a motion sensor and once Walker walked up to it the mask dropped down and music came on. I have never seen a Dinosaur run so fast in my life. I saw a blur of orange dinosaur then Josh all arms trying to catch up to him. Aden didn't enjoy his self to much unless he was being held. No nap + a thick costume that keeps falling down and covering your eyes = not a happy baby. Who could blame him. Once we got back to the house and took off the costume he got to watch the kids run around some more and he was happy again.

Animal Planet a miss

So they decided not to show the cutest kid in the world on the show. America's lost. I didn't want Walker that famous yet. At least everyone got to see my neighbors and a little bit of our house from the outside. Oh well, maybe next time.

Animal Planet

My neighbor said that the episode that they our in is on tonight at 9:00pm on the Animal Planet. They filmed Walker, Josh, and me for the show and I am not sure who made it. If I made it let me tell you that I just got out of the shower(hair bad/make-up none) and I hear the camera adds 100 pounds but only to females. Sorry this is short notice.

Aden says MAMA!!!!!!!!!

Yes believe it. We were carving our pumpkins tonight and Aden was being a little fussy so I was kinda tuning him out. I then heard Mama and without thinking I said yes honey and then it hit me. YOU SAID MAMA!! I got so excited and by this point Aden was giving me the biggest grin and started laughing. What a sweet moment!!

Lindsay was trying to get a picture of her with the boys but you can tell by the look on Walker's face that he wasn't doing it.

Baby's First Halloween!!

Pumpkins pumpkins everywhere.

Poppy, Walker, Aunt Burp Burp, Aden and Nana
This was our third year going to Burt's farm and we love it.(or at least I do) It was me, Josh, the boys, Lindsay, Poppy, Nana, Grandmom, and my aunt Pam. First we stopped for lunch at the famous Dawsonville Cafe for burgers and then off to the farm. Walker had a blast looking at all the pumpkins and riding on the hayride and Aden had fun just watching his brother. After the farm we had dinner and then took baths at Poppy's and Nana's then put the kids in the car and home we went. It was a full day of driving and the boys did sooooo good.

Mommy and Me

We are going on our third month of mommy and me classes at the zoo. I got an e-mail from the zoo one day telling me about the classes and I thought that it would give Walker and me some one on one time. I am so lucky because my mom can watch Aden while we go to the zoo. It was so cute the first time I told him about the classes. It went something like this:

Me ~ Walker do you want to go to the Zoo tomorrow with mommy?

Walker ~ Zoo with mommy?

Me ~ Yes, we came see lots of animals, play with other kids and ride the train.

Walker ~ Ride train?

Me ~ And it will just be me and you Walker, no Aden.

Walker ~ NOOOOOOO Aden?

Me ~ No Aden just mommy and Walker.

Walker ~ Just mommy, no Aden?

Me ~ Just mommy and Walker.

Walker ~ YAY! YAY!YAY! No Aden!*Aden, Walker does love you very much but still likes his time with his mommy*

Now you know why I do this class. The first month Walker was shy and didn't get to involved with the singing. The second month he started getting a little involved and now this month he is the loudest singer of the bunch. :) This class is pretty good because they teach the kids about different animals and where they live, what they eat, and a bunch of different little things.

Aubrey Pricilla Roach

My brother and sister-in-law welcomed home their second little girl on August 26Th. (I know that this is late but oh well) She weighed 8 pounds 14 ounces and was 20 inches long. She also told me that I was her favorite!:) Mom, dad, and big sister seem to be doing pretty good with their new family of four!

Walker News

Ever wonder what happens when a 2 1/2 year old watches Diego twice with a flying squirrel flying in it? He wakes up from his nap and climbs his crib and decides to jump off of it like the squirrel did in the show. Only the boy doesn't fly but lands directly on his bottom. I heard a loud bang and ran in his room to see him sitting on the floor with a confused look on his face.

I guess it is big boy bed time. ;0

Updates for Aden

I know that it has been forever since I updated on Aden so here is a little bit about him. He went for his six month check up on August 11th and did very well . He weighed 17 pounds 11 ounces (42%) and it 2 feet 2.25 inches tall (30%) The doctor said that he is a little on the small side so I needed to bump up his food intake. He said that the food was more important than the bottle which I hated to hear. Bottles are so easy to make and feed and food takes soooooo much time to feed. So now I feel that I am feeding someone all day long from Walker to Aden and then to me. He is getting better at eating so it is not that bad. This is what he eats:

Breakfast -3 tablespoons for baby oatmeal mixed with a jar of fruit and a 8 oz bottle

Lunch - 1 jar of fruit and 1 jar of veggies and a 8 oz bottle

Dinner - 4 tablespoons of rice cereal mixed with i jar of veggies and a 6 oz bottle

Bedtime - 8 oz bottle

See what I mean about someone eating all the time?!

Aden still is not the best at sleeping but all I can compare him to is Walker and Walker is the best sleeper there is. I know that some of that is my fault because I know that he needs to cry it out when he wakes up in the middle of the night but I can't take the crying. I will work on that soon I hope.

Aden is a very BIG mama's boy, he's head strong, the cutest baby, sweet , lovable, loves hugs and kisses, very smart, (knows patty-cake)and thinks his brother is the BEST thing in the world. (He is also crazy about his daddy too)
I always thought that I would have a girl and was kinda shocked when they said another boy but was still happy about another healthily baby boy. Still when you go shopping and see all the cute girl clothes, you wonder what it would be like. But it hit me like a ton of bricks a couple months ago how much I LOOOVVVVEEE being a mom to two of the sweetest and cutest boys on the earth. I would not trade my boys for anything!!!!! Walker and Aden you make mommy smile and laugh all the time. I love watching you both love on each other and I just hope when you grow up that you still love each other just as much.
On another note about Aden being the younger sibling. It was just the other day I was talking to Beth(my M-I-L) about how I can understand the looks that Aden gives Walker. I told her that I think every one should experience being the younger sibling. I know that when I was younger I adored my brother soooooo much. He was everything to me. I would always go to his room to sleep when I was scared, he was like a hero to me. I see the look that Aden gives Walker and it makes my heart swell. Now that said don't get me wrong because I am prepared for the days to come when they destroy the house rough housing and having arguments but at least I can close my eyes and remember how they are at this very moment in time. ;)
